God i wish i had done this a few times while working at wal*mart. Actually i wouldn't have a hit a customer. I would have hit the manager...with a forklift, but that's beside the point.

Personally i've nothing against torture. I feel it doens't work as often as torture advocates seem to think, but I can't imagine that it never works. And 1 time may, not will, but may make up for the rest. Depending on what it prevents.

Is it moral? Is it ethical? God no. But it is practical and logical. Unless the people you're torturing doesn't fear death, then the biggest psycological threat of the process is removed. Although i suppose they could still fear the future pain.
